Day 1. Petchfield Farm to Leintwardine

Following the River Teme on an idyllic lanes. Add an extra loop to cycle to Hopton Castle for afternoon tea. Visit the unique local parlour pub The Sun Inn. Stay at The Lion Hotel on the banks of the River Teme. 5 - 17 miles (8 - 27km)

Day 2. Leintwardine to Weobley

Easy cycling, just into Wales (Presteigne on the River Lugg) and through the Black and White villages of Herefordshire. Visit the market hall at Pembridge, grand bell tower, Dunkerton's cider farm, and of course the New Inn (only 600 years old). Total 25 miles (40km). Staying at The Salutation Inn.

Day 3. Explore the Black and White Villages

Easy cycle routes; visit the Brobury House gardens at Bredwardine, try the Eardisland teashop tour. Look out for details of open gardens around the Black and White villages. Stay at The Salutation Inn. Choice of cycle routes 16 - 20 miles (26 - 32 km)

Day 4. Weobley to Petchfield Farm

On your last cycling day there are two grand National Trust houses to visit; Croft Castle and Berrington Hall. Remember to stop at Yarpole church for coffee, their bell tower is one of the oldest timber structures in the UK. Finishing any time in the afternoon, back at Petchfield Farm. Total 18 - 24 miles (29 - 39 km)

The Salutation Inn. Country Inn. Nestling in the centre of the medieval village of Weobley, The Salutation Inn is a fantastic half timbered building, with a friendly bar and great restaurant

Mellington House. Guesthouse. Grand 16th century house in the centre of Weobley. Weobley is a classic "Black & White" village with plenty of excellent places to eat
