Wild Edrics Way, walking trail in Shropshire

Wild Edric's Way

Wild Edric's Way takes in some of the finest Shropshire landscapes, beginning at Church Stretton and crossing the grouse moors of the Long Mynd and ending four days later in the medieval town of Ludlow. Named after 'Edric the Wild', a Saxon nobleman who owned the manors of Clun and Stokesay, he rebelled against the Normans, captured Hereford Castle and besieged Shrewsbury!

At one point, Wild Edric's Way follows the same route as Offa's Dyke and the Shropshire way. Fantastic views over Wales, and a lovely finish in Ludlow

Here are two walking holidays designed to show you Shropshire's best walks, including Wild Edric's Way
